Women Build

Coming together to build stronger, safer communities.

Habitat for Humanity Ontario County is kicking off a new initiative that aims to recruit, educate, and empower women to build and advocate for decent and affordable homes.

The program — called Women Build — taps into the potential of local women to learn and use construction skills on an actual job site and improve neighborhoods in Ontario County.

Volunteers will participate in a series of building events at the site of a new Habitat house under construction in Clifton Springs. No previous construction skills or experience are necessary.
