Every volunteer makes a difference.
With Habitat for Humanity, you have the opportunity to build in your community and also in communities around the world.
There are many opportunities to get involved with us:
If you are interested in swinging a hammer, pounding nails and building houses, then volunteering on a build might be just the thing for you! Our Construction Supervisors are trained professionals who will walk you through your assigned tasks while volunteering. Skilled trade volunteers are greatly appreciated. Reach out to the volunteer coordinator for current and future opportunities.
Age Restriction: No one under the age of 16 is allowed on active construction sites.
Houses aren’t built with hammer and nails alone. A lot of work happens before we ever get to the build site, and much of that work begins with our Committees. We are always looking for individuals with a variety of experience and skills to join our committees. It only takes a few hours of your time each month to make a world of difference to those in need.
Committees Include: Site Selection, Construction, Homeowner Services, Community Outreach, Women Build
Our ReStore is always looking for outgoing, friendly volunteers to help out at the store. A day of volunteering at the ReStore might include: Greeting and assisting customers in the store, Organizing donations and displays, Assisting at the sales counter, and Receiving donations or picking up donations on the truck.
Habitat may work around the corner from you, but we also work across the U.S. and around the world. Through Habitat’s Global Village volunteer trips, you can volunteer with us in more than 40 nations.
